Second Amendment under siege: Judge upholds restrictive D.C. gun ban

The Washington Times reports:
A federal judge on Thursday ruled that a D.C. law requiring guns to be registered, mandating safety training and limiting the number of pistol purchases per month do not violate Second Amendment protections of the right to bear arms.

There's more:
Of the law that limits D.C. residents’ purchase of new pistols to one per month, Judge Boasberg wrote, “even under the current limitation, District residents can still accumulate up to 12 new pistols each year. That is more than enough.”

No word yet on whether Judge Boasberg feels he can limit your book buying to 1 purchase a month.
