Skull and Bones Member William Nordhaus Dominates Economics: Chairman of Boston Federal Reserve Bank and President of the American Economic Association At The Same Time

Skull and Bones update.Yale News reports on statist economist, and Skull and Bones member, William Nordaus:
William Nordhaus, Sterling Professor of Economics, has been promoted to chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Nordhaus, who has served as deputy chair, will succeed Kirk A. Sykes, whose term ends in January 2014.

One of the world’s leading economists, Nordhaus was elected president of the American Economic Association for 2014. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences, as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. From 1977 to 1979, he served as a member of the President’s Council of Economic Advisers.
Imagine that. Two big life time achievements at the same time. The charmed life of Skull and Bones members. Even for members of the Brotherhood of Power, it's pretty stunning to be Chairman of the board of the Boston Federal Reserve Bank and President of the American Economic Association at the same time.
