Obama to reject Keystone XL pipeline, claims Rolling Stone author

The Washington Examiner reports:

After five years of delays, reviews and excuses, President Obama has apparently “all but decided to deny the permit for the [Keystone XL] pipeline,” according to Rolling Stone author Jeff Goodell.

Goodell claimed that Obama's decision really is about politics, despite claims from the administration and Democrats that was not the case.

“Although no final decision has been made, two high-level sources in the Obama administration told me recently that the president has all but decided to deny the permit for the pipeline – a dramatic move that would light up Democratic voters and donors while further provoking the wrath of Big Oil,” Goodell said.
