Markets in everything: This could be the future of primary care medicine in the US … and it’s not Obamacare

Professor Mark Perry reports:
As of April 1, McLean (VA) internist Dr. David J. Jones is “opting out” of the traditional primary care model of medical care and will no longer be accepting medical insurance. He joins a growing group of more than 4,000 physicians nationwide who have become “concierge medicine physicians,” who charge their patients an annual membership fee instead of billing insurance companies for individual visits.
What a great idea!
