George Lucas ,of Star Wars fame, is a big time Democrat. Like all big time Democrats we hear how important the value of "public education " is and that only background types aren't for government run education. Lucas and his wife have made a donation:
Ariel Investments President Mellody Hobson and film producer George Lucas pledged $25 million for a new arts building at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. The building will be named for photographer and filmmaker Gordon Parks and is slated to open in 2015 on the Hyde Park campus, according to a statement this morning.This is the same private school Rahm Emanuel sends his children to. Don't rich Democrats believe in public education anymore??? Are George Lucas and Rahm Emanuel "role models" in supporting public education?
