Illinois population virtually unchanged, Census Bureau says

Crain's Chicago Business reports:

Unless the slow growth is reversed, the rate in Illinois almost certainly guarantees the state will lose another seat in Congress after the 2020 census. It also will cost the state funding from federal programs in which resources are distributed on the basis of population.
