How about some rallies protesting the gun violence in Obama’s home town of Chicago

Carpe Diem reports:
Over the course of the George Zimmerman trial from June 10 to July 13, 2013, 54 people were killed in gunshot homicides in the city of Chicago, most of them black (76%) and many of them black teenagers, just like Trayvon Martin, according to the Huffington Post. President Obama has found time to provide some ongoing commentary on the Zimmerman trial, but hasn’t spent much time commenting on the tragedy of gun violence that is going on in his home town in recent months. Likewise, Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, Stevie Wonder and the NAACP have all found time to comment on the Zimmerman trial and organize rallies to protest the verdict, but have shown little concern for the gun violence in Obama’s home town that has claimed the lives of 226 Chicagoans so far this year and resulted in injury to 982 more of the city’s residents.
The great moments of one party rule.
