7,000 Abandoned Buildings in Dayton

The Tea Party Economist reports:

In Dayton, Ohio, there are 7,000 abandoned buildings. Because of federal asbestos controls, it costs $11,000 to demolish one building. So, they rot. The city is desperate. It cannot afford to demolish them. So, like a blight, the number of these buildings continues to grow.
