Want single-payer health care? Totalitarian Vermont to end private medical practice, usher in price controls

People who think the government can do a better job of managing their health care needs apparently haven’t heard about Vermont’s state-run single-payer health care system, Green Mountain Care, created in 2011. Dr. Robert Emmons, speaking on behalf of Vermonters for Health Care Freedom, warns that Vermont needs private medicine “as a safety net for the inevitable failures of Green Mountain Care, whatever those failures may be.”
