Tickets for the “Paul McCartney: Out There” concert at the Amway Center in Orlando on May 18 go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. today (Friday) through Ticketmaster. But if you want a ticket, you probably won’t have much luck getting one through TIcketmaster, because as reporter Scott Maxwell reports in the Orlando Sentinel, “Many, if not most, of the seats have already been sold to VIPs, American Express cardholders, insiders, and scalpers who have special access to ‘pre-sale’ offers. This is the concert world’s dirty little secret. Sometimes fewer than 20 percent of the tickets are actually left by the time the ‘general public’ sale begins.”An article worth your time.
