Deadbeat Illinois: State falling behind on burial expenses, too

The State Journal Register reports:

Paying for the burial or cremation of Illinois’ indigent population continues to be a low priority for state officials charged with sorting through billions of dollars in old bills, according to funeral professionals around the state.

The compassion of Blue America. Taxpayer- pay your taxes on time or potentially go to jail; Government- don't pay your bills on time and nothing happens.
