AP Flashback: 399 Murders in Chicago in 1928 at the Height of Prohibition Versus 506 in 2012

The AP has a reminder of Chicago's lower murder count in 1928 compared to today. Is Rahm Emanuel the poster child for failure in America today?? No word yet from Barack Obama on this story. The evidence is in: Chicago had LESS MURDERS before gun control:
There was no real gun control back in Capone's day. The first national firearms act wasn't signed until 1934
Just a reminder.
