Suburban Chicago police officer charged after investigation

The Chicago Tribune reports:

A Northbrook police officer was jailed this morning in lieu of $30,000 bond after authorities charged him with felony counts of armed violence, residential burglary and official misconduct.

To think many Cook County Democrats want only the police to own guns.
