Chicago Growing Slower Than Detroit: Brookings Institution

Crain's Chicago Business reports:
Chicago comes out a laggard in a Brookings Institution study measuring growth in the 300 largest metro economies in the world from 2011 to 2012.
Check out the interesting graphic from Crain's. Detroit's real GDP per capita growth rate was 1.8% versus Chicago's 0.3%. Yet, Rahm Emanuel says Chicago is a role model for the rest of America!
