Lawyer: Ex-Cook commissioner Moreno intends to plead guilty

The Chicago Tribune reports:

An attorney for former Cook County commissioner Joseph Mario Moreno today signaled in court that Moreno intends to plead guilty for his role in a bribery scheme, while former Chicago Ald. Ambrosio Medrano will go to trial to fight the same charges, according to his lawyer.

Isn't it time for the death penalty for this sort of Cook County scum?
