Unions heckle Quinn at Illinois State Fair

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:

Governor’s Day at the Illinois State Fair was anything but for Pat Quinn as pro-union hecklers shouted him down at a speaking engagement and an airplane circled overhead with an anti-Quinn banner.

They’re the clearest signs yet of the intensifying fight between Quinn and organized labor ,who helped him win election in 2010 but now accuse him of betraying their cause. And it was unfolding Wednesday, a day aimed at showcasing Democratic unity.
