Alderman Ed Burke in federal government's crosshairs

City Hall's most powerful Alderman, Ed Burke, is now in the federal government's crosshairs.

WLS reporter Bill Cameron says Federal Grand Jury subpoenas arrived at his City Council Finance Committee Office seeking workers compensation documents.

Six years of workers compensation records in Burke’s office are being demanded.

On paper, Burke says he’s co-operating. But in-person Tuesday, Mayor Emanuel said there’s no doubt there’s a problem.
