Axelrod buys $1.7 Million Condo at Water Tower Place

Crain's Chicago Business reports:

Veteran political strategist David Axelrod, a top adviser to President Barack Obama, has a new Gold Coast pad.

Mr. Axelrod and his wife, Susan, paid $1.7 million last month for a four-bedroom condominium in Water Tower Place, 180 E. Pearson St., county records show. The Chicago Tribune first reported news of the purchase Monday afternoon.

The high-rise condo faces southeast with views of Lake Michigan, according to the listing. The 3,320-square-foot residence also includes marble foyer floors and full-service amenities.
