Rick Perry campaign seizes on new survey showing Texas has best business climate

The Houston Chronicle reports:

Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential campaign was all smiles in response to a new survey of business executives that found that the Lone Star State has the best business climate in the nation.

“The report is further evidence that Texas remains the nation’s prime destination to live work, raise a family and start a business,” Catherine Frazier, a Perry spokeswoman, said in an emailed statement to Perry Presidential.

Forty-nine percent of business executives surveyed identified Texas as having one of the best business climates. North Carolina and South Carolina came in a distant second place and third place, with 28 percent and 14 percent, respectively.

Can't say that about Barack Obama's Illinois.
