The NYT Attack On Rick Perry

Liberal NYT columnist Gail Collins attacks Rick Perry:

Perry comes to the race with a remarkable lack of national experience and exposure. The only recent equivalent would probably be Sarah Palin, and it’s not surprising that Texas and Alaska would produce the people with little frame of reference outside of their home states.

Rick Perry is America's longest serving Governor. Gail Collins couldn't say that about Barack Obama's experience before being elected President. I guess if you are very liberal and haven't served one term in the U.S. Senate: Gail Collins thinks that national experience.
