CNBC: Obama Cheerleading Network

The Boston Herald reports:
the NBC networks have been sold to Comcast, but General Electric still maintains a 49 percent ownership stake. The same GE whose boss is Barack’s buddy Jeff Immelt, the same GE that paid zero income taxes last year on profits of $5.1 billion. What’s good for GE is good for Barack Obama, as Brian Williams, Andrea Mitchell and all the rest of the NBC cheerleading squad know.

What do you call it when the Dow goes down 575 Thursday, up 22 Friday, and then down another 635 on Monday? A soft patch.

Unemployment up? It’s unexpected. Unemployment down? It’s a green shoot! The economy is . . . soaring!

Two phrases nobody’s allowed to use on CNBC: “misery index” and “stagflation.” They’re permitted only during Republican administrations.
GE sure likes those government handouts.
