'Vinny Gorgeous' gets 2nd life term

The New York Post reports:

A former Bonanno crime family boss was sentenced today to serve life in prison for ordering a hit on a mob associate considered to be a renegade.
In practical terms, Vincent "Vinny Gorgeous" Basciano will be serving two back-to-back life terms - he's already serving one life sentence for an earlier mob murder.

Although the mobster dodged the death penalty at his capital murder trial in the spring, there is little likelihood that he will ever see freedom again.
