Unions Rules Must Stay: Federal Judge Sides With Unions in Chicago Convention Center Battle

McCormick Place's operators may not implement a package of wide-sweeping labor changes designed to keep trade shows in Chicago while a court case challenging the reforms makes its way through the appeals process.

A federal judge Wednesday denied the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority's request to stay an injunction on the labor rules, effectively dealing a second legal blow to the organization that oversees McCormick Place and Navy Pier.

The union workers in McCormick Place are going to have more free time on their hands!
