Rahm Emanuel: 33% of Chicago's Streets and San. Department Calling in Sick Is Unacceptable

The Chicago Sun-Times reports on Chicago's Streets and San. department. Here's what Rahm Emanuel has to say:

“On any given day, 33 percent of the workforce at Streets and San are absent. That is unacceptable,” Emanuel said.

He said he would tell the union leader: “I understand you have an explanation for the number. Tell me your solution to the problem.”
