Chicago's City Council Becomes 100% Democratic Party Membership: Lone Republican Loses, Democrat Party Now Has All 50 Democratic Party Seats

In the 41st Ward, where the Council’s lone Republican alderman, Brian Doherty, reigned for two decades, a Democrat was heading to victory.

The one party town shows no diversity.
