Fidelity to close Marlboro office, move 1,100 jobs out of Mass.

The Boston Herald reports:
Fidelity Investments announced today that it will close its Marlboro operations and move as many as 1,100 jobs out of state.

The Boston financial services giant said most of the affected workers will shift to offices in Merrimack, N.H., and Smithfield, R.I., by the end of 2012.
Imagine that.
