Emanuel’s comments do not necessarily mean that Burke will remain as Finance Committee chairman when the new City Council reorganizes itself after the May 16 inauguration.
“I’m looking for a partner in reform. If he’s ready to do that, I’m heartened because we must reform. This is the era of reform,” Emanuel said.
