Rahm Emanuel Pissed Over Wall Street Judas Remark

Chicago Now reports:
Rahm Emanuel is pissed that Jim Sweeney, president of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 150, called him a Wall Street Judas during an endorsement rally speech for Gery Chico. Sweeney suggested that Emanuel sold out blue collar folks for a big payday "for a bag of silver that he collected when he went and passed NAFTA. Naturally, Rahm took that as an anti-Semitic remark given the biblical inference behind the remark. My only thought about the whole flap, though, goes beyond the biblical.

No word yet from Rahm Emanuel's biggest challenge on this one.
