Lawyers Flex Their Muscle Against Toning Shoes

The Boston Herald reports:
Attorneys nationwide are flexing their legal muscles against toning shoes, questioning the leg-tightening and butt-firming benefits of the hot-selling footwear category.

Among the companies tripped up by recent lawsuits are Skechers, the toning leader with a 61 percent market share, and Canton-based Reebok, whose EasyTones have cornered a third of sales.
What we would do without lawyers "protecting" us from running shoes?
