Illinois Democrats forgot something when planning tax increase

John Kass has a great one today on the state of Illinois:

The warlords of Madiganistan — that bankrupt Midwestern state once known as Illinois — are hungry to feed on our flesh once again.

This time the ruling Democrats are planning a 75 percent state income tax increase, with more job-killing taxes on corporations, although by the end of the weekend House Speaker Michael Madigan, D-Lisa's Daddy, may offer a slightly smaller bite and pretend he's compromising for the good of the people.

The architects of all of this are the lord of Madiganistan himself, his ally Senate President John Cullerton, D-DeLeo, and their quivering, spineless attendant, Gov. Jell-O. A few tamed Republicans also want to join in and support a tax deal, demonstrating their eagerness to play the eunuch in the court of the pasha.
