Raj wiretrapped as judge rules bugs are OK

White-collar crimes are just as pernicious as drug trafficking and organized crime, a federal judge says.

In a major victory for Manhattan US Attorney Preet Bharara's aggressive campaign to clean up Wall Street, a federal judge yesterday gave prosecutors the green light to use thousands of wiretapped conversations as evidence in the upcoming trial against hedge fund billionaire Raj Rajaratnam.
