Durbin Blasts Tea Party

Via Illinois Review ,The Register-Mail reports on Senator Dick Durbin's attack on the Tea party:

“They don’t speak for America, they barely speak for their own party,” he said. “Now, the Tea Party can take over the Republican Party, they can have them, but they are not going to take over this country.”

In contrast to the Tea Party’s desire to “take America back” Durbin said the Democrats wanted to take “America forward.”
