Chicago aldermen offended by Emanuel's royal send-off ; Alderman Burke Gives Rahm Emanuel a Clear Warning

Everyone is a Democrat in Chicago, but as the Chicago Sun-Times reports : not everyone is happy to have Rahm Emanuel as Mayor of Chicago
Finance Committee Chairman Edward M. Burke (14th) said Obama has “got enough on his plate” fighting two wars “without getting involved in Chicago politics.”

“Remember what Mayor Washington used to say about Chicago politics? He said, ‘It’s ain’t beanbag,’” Burke said.

Asked whether he believes Obama should “stay out of it,” Burke said, “I think he ought to get into it and help elect Pat Quinn and Alexi Giannoulias.”
The fact that Alderman Ed Burke would go on the record with such pointed comments against Obama's choice Rahm Emanuel suggests problems ahead for Rahm. Just a reminder to Rahm, Alderman Burke has $6 Million in his campaign fund.
