Officers rally against police supt., manpower shortage

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
Hundreds of officers marched on Chicago Police Department headquarters Wednesday, calling on Supt. Jody Weis to resign and urging the city to put more cops on the street.

The picket follows a war of words between Weis and Mark Donahue, president of the Fraternal Order of Police.
