Tribune Co. mulls new business offices in Texas, Indiana

Crain's Chicago Business reports:

Tribune Co. is scouting office space in Dallas and Indianapolis as the media company considers setting up back-office operations outside its home base of Chicago, the Dallas Morning News has reported.

The office would employ several hundred workers providing accounting and other administrative functions, the Dallas paper reported, citing real estate brokers.

Sounds like the Tribune doesn't want to expand in Illinois.
