Turn off CNBC. Stop reading the headlines. Don't subscribe to any self-described market pundits. They are just promoting their trading positions or their pet theories. Or they're trying to get media exposure by being more outspoken than anyone else. Go for insight rather than noise
I'm trying to drum up a little insight, too. We are still living with the aftermath of the financial crisis of 2007-09. It's a peculiar time when interest rates are zero while some corporate profits, like those at UPS and Federal Express and American Express, are flying. What does it all mean?
