Detroit 3 see auto sales drop by almost 13%

The Washington Times reports:
In a sign that the spring's increase in auto sales may be short-lived, Detroit's three major auto brands -- Ford, Chrysler and GM -- each saw U.S. sales of its vehicles decline by almost 13 percent in June, compared to May numbers.

GM -- the first automaker to report its numbers for June -- verified the analysts who had projected a decrease in sales because of consumers' hesitation to purchase cars in an environment of high unemployment.
Imagine that.
