The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
The construction workers strike has been going on for almost three weeks now, and workers and contractors alike are feeling the pain.
"It's killing us," said Jay Javors, president of Midwest Property Group, whose company is building a high-rise at 210 N. Wells. "We're 10 days behind schedule."

The Chicago area has a rather high unemployment rate , yet these unions don't want people working to compete with them.
