Reputed Chicago Mob thieves released on bond

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
Two geriatric, reputedly mobbed-up thieves -- including one who stole the Marlborough Diamond -- have been released from jail despite vigorous efforts by prosecutors to keep them behind bars to await trial for allegedly planning an armored car heist in the western suburbs.

Robert "Bobby" Pullia, 69, and Arthur "The Genius" Rachel, 72, were released from the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Chicago after the federal appellate court in Chicago on Friday declined to reverse a lower court decision setting bond for the men.
