Erza Klein's Private E-Mail List

Ezra Klein the journalist/pro-government advocate at the Washington Post talks about his criteria for founding his private e-mail list:
At the beginning, I set two rules for the membership. The first was the easy one: No one who worked for the government in any capacity could join. The second was the hard one: The membership would range from nonpartisan to liberal, center to left.
Did Erza Klein forget that Eric Alterman is a Distinguished Professor of English, Brooklyn College, City University of New York, and Professor of Journalism at the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism? Are there any other government workers on Ezra Klein's e-mail list besides Eric Alterman? The Washington Post should be concerned if anyone there ever took a class in statistics. The FBI claims that when 30 people know something , an investigation can undercover information sought after. Erza Klein's list had more 400 people on it. Is the Washington Post proud of what Ezra Klein says in e-mails that might make their way to the web?
