Illinois State trooper used computer to view child pornography

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:

Before retiring in March, an Illinois State Police trooper who patrolled highways used his department-issued computer to view child pornography while on duty, authorities alleged Friday.

Juan Rodriguez, 50, purportedly told investigators he looked at the images, in part, because he was “bored” while working, officials said.
