Laboratory records alleged to show that former San Francisco Giants slugger Barry Bonds used performance-enhancing drugs are inadmissible in the court case against him, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
The 2-1 ruling upheld a decision by U.S. District Judge Susan Illston to exclude the drug test log sheets from Bonds' trial on charges of lying to a federal grand jury about taking steroids and other banned substances.
