Even college grads who have done it all right - fulfilled internships, networked with employers and applied early for jobs - find themselves struggling for full-time paying work in the sour economy of 2010, career advisers say.
To cope, frustrated grads like Kristen Kinnetz, 22, who will graduate from Boston College tomorrow, are learning the virtues of flexibility and compromise.
Some are moving back with their parents, others saying yes to part-time, temporary or unpaid opportunities, according to career counselors, including Paul Tanklefsky, director of career services for Suffolk University.
