Outlook grim for Postal Service as revenue ebbs

The San Francisco Chronicle reports:
The same forces that have ravaged the music, newspaper and book publishing industries are aimed at the U.S. Postal Service, threatening much more than the Saturday mail.

Postmaster General John Potter warned Congress last week that the Postal Service may run out of cash just in time for the November elections and Christmas shopping season.


The monopoly can't adjust to changing technology.
