Chicago Mob Diamond thieves indicted in plot to rob La Grange bank

Crain's Chicago Business reports:
Two men imprisoned in Britain three decades ago for stealing the famous Marlborough diamond have been indicted along with a third man on charges of conspiring to rob the First National Bank of La Grange.

The indictment returned Thursday mirrored an FBI complaint filed after the three men were arrested a week earlier. There were no new allegations.

Joseph "Jerry" Scalise, Arthur Rachel and Robert Pullia are being held in federal custody pending a bond hearing. They are to be arraigned at an unspecified later time.
No word yet from former Chicago Mob attorney Anne Burke on this one.
