Two men imprisoned in Britain three decades ago for stealing the famous Marlborough diamond have been indicted along with a third man on charges of conspiring to rob the First National Bank of La Grange.No word yet from former Chicago Mob attorney Anne Burke on this one.
The indictment returned Thursday mirrored an FBI complaint filed after the three men were arrested a week earlier. There were no new allegations.
Joseph "Jerry" Scalise, Arthur Rachel and Robert Pullia are being held in federal custody pending a bond hearing. They are to be arraigned at an unspecified later time.
