Ill. Gov. Quinn Borrows $200,000 From Powerful Chicago Alderman Ed Burke

The Central Illinois Gazette reports:
In this morning's campaign disclosure filings, Gov. Pat Quinn reports that he has borrowed another $100,000 -- this time from the Burnham Committee headed by Chicago powerhouse alderman Ed Burke.

This is Quinn's fifth $100,000 loan in the last week, putting him in company with several of the Republican gubernatorial candidates who also are deep in debt. Last week Quinn borrowed $100,000 from Burke and $100,000 from former Senate President Emil Jones.
