Former Blagojevich adviser Chris Kelly reaches plea deal

The Chicago Sun-Times reports:
On the same day Rod Blagojevich launched a media blitz to promote his new book, one of the biggest players in his ongoing criminal saga was set to plead guilty in federal court.

Christopher Kelly, a longtime friend, adviser and fund-raiser to the ex-governor, has a "plea arrangement" with federal prosecutors, Assistant U.S. Attorney Reid Schar said in court, before the court recessed.

Schar said his office was finalizing the details and took a quick break to get the document.

An FBI agent ran down the courthouse hallway minutes later and declared to a prosecutor: "I got it."
This is big news.
