Bracing for big loss in taxes: Communities could be out millions with GM, Chrysler claims

The Detroit Free Press reports:

Cash-strapped governments, schools and other public agencies in Michigan are bracing for a possible loss of $45 million in taxes as downsizing General Motors Co. and Chrysler Group LLC seek to lower their property tax burdens.
