4 Former Chicago Cops Headed to jail after guilty pleas

The Chicago Tribune reports:
Four ex-Chicago police officers implicated in the Special Operations Section scandal pleaded guilty today and were immediately sentenced to 6 months in jail and ordered to continue to cooperate in the ongoing probe of police corruption.

Bart Maka, Brian Pratscher and Donovan Markiewicz each pleaded guilty to one count of theft while Guadalupe Salinas pleaded guilty to a count of official misconduct. All other charges--including kidnapping, burglary, unlawful restraint and obstruction of justice--were dismissed as part of the plea deal.
Do you want these sort of cops "protecting" you in Chicago?
