Obama Records Pitch for African IOC Members

ABC TV Chicago reports:
Chicago's Olympic bid team says it has crossed the finish line in its fundraising race.

The organization confirms it has raised nearly $60 million in private money and another $10 million that's being used to fund an Olympic sports program for city kids.

The 2016 race is nearing its final lap with the vote three months from today. Chicago is stumping for support from International Olympic Committee members.

It's not that different from a race for alderman. But in this election there are only 107 voters.
